TRAINING COURSES
Evidence-Based and Flexible Education Programmes Designed to Train Staff Working Across All Sectors of Health and Social Care
WE OFFER TWO MAJOR POINTS OF DIFFERENCE
Training Needs Analysis
Like other providers, we can deliver off-the-shelf training products.
Where we differ is that we like to start by understanding the unique needs of the people who you support, your staff, and your service as a whole.
We therefore offer our customers a structured Training Needs Analysis, the result of which will be a training programme that is relevant, targeted and immediately applicable in practice.
For regulators, commissioners and customers, the Training Needs Analysis provides you with a document, written by suitably qualified and experienced professionals, that clearly demonstrates your organisation’s commitment to quality.
Flexible Delivery
Once we have designed a training programme for you, we will offer you different forms of delivery whenever possible.
FACE-TO-FACE. Traditional, classroom style training delivered in an engaging “workshop” style that suits all types of learner.
TUTORIAL. Shorter sessions for smaller groups, using a professional-discussion approach.
WEBINAR. Ideal for Staff working remotely
BESPOKE ONLINE. Online courses written specifically for your organisation, available to your team on demand

MOVING AND POSITIONING
The ability to mobilise and position ourselves comfortably is something that we take for granted.
Within some care services, however, people may need support with movement, and this may involve using equipment
We provide training that is compliant with the All Wales Manual Handling Passport, ensuring that risks are minimised while promoting independence and working in person-centred ways.
FIRST AID
Even in the best-organised workplace with excellent health and safety practices, there is always a possibility of an accident or sudden onset of an illness.
We therefore need to be competent and confident in dealing with these unexpected situations. Vector therefore provide courses in First Aid and Basic Life Support
