SECTOR-SPECIFIC SUPPORT
We recognise that different sectors face unique challenges. Our consultancy and training are tailored to the specific needs of each setting, ensuring that support is practical, relevant, and aligned with the realities of your service.
SCHOOLS
For those of us who work in children’s education, we know that our ultimate goals are not just related to academic attainment, but also involve preparing young people for their future lives.
This aspect of our work involves supporting young people in their emotional development, promoting positive responses and appropriately channelling strong feelings.
Vector offer a detailed online course, “Emotional Dysregulation in Primary Schools.” This is designed for everyone working with young people in school settings, and is built around the latest April ’26 guidance. The course includes clear advice for maintaining safety in dysregulation, displaying empathy in helping a child to ground themselves, and tools for informally educating about emotional development.
Built in small and sequential modules and using informative videos and presentations, the course offers clear ideas and guidance for working with pupils who may become dysregulated, along with downloadable resources.
For no extra cost, we can build in your school’s policies for working with concerning behaviours.
We are also able to offer training in the practical skills that may be required to maintain classroom safety
