We are more than happy to provide classroom or online training for you at competitive prices, but.....
For a low-cost subscription which will quickly pay for itself, we offer the benefits listed below
Conducted by experienced Nurses, Teachers and Healthcare Managers, this Training Needs Analysis has two benefits.
Firstly, it ensures that all of your training is tailored to your exact needs
Secondly, it shows inspectors and commissioners that you are serious about staff training and development.
Member organisations receive all of the mandatory training that is required in health and social care.
The difference with Vector is that we tailor this training for you, building an online suite of courses that are for your service alone.
Your own policies, procedures and model of service can be added if required, at no extra cost
For our Gold- and Platinum-Level Members, we offer attendance at fortnightly webinars that support the mandatory induction courses for your staff.
This would be the All Wales Induction Framework in Wales and the Care Certificate in England
Platinum-level members also receive a suite of online courses to reinforce the webinar content
In the post-pandemic world where the use of IT has become increasingly the go-to option, we are committed to using technology to facilitate learning.
At the same time, we recognise that some skills-based training can never be conducted online. We therefore offer expertly delivered classroom courses in:
ALL WITH MEANINGFUL REDUCTIONS FOR MEMBER ORGANISATIONS
Every person who your service supports is an individual with unique support needs. All too often, however, training takes a one-size-fits-all approach. A skilled and knowledgeable classroom trainer can adapt to your needs through questions and discussion - and we are more than happy to provide classroom training for you in any health and social care topic.
Online training, however, is undoubtedly cheaper, and your staff can do it at a time which suits them.
We're therefore committed to exploring your exact needs with you, and producing mandatory and clinical training for your staff where everything is relevant to their job role. This will be the result of a thorough Training Needs Analysis
As a Health and Social Care Service Provider, you will need to demonstrate that you take staff training and development very seriously. A Training Needs Analysis conducted by a suitably qualified and experienced professional will go a long way in helping you to achieve this
While we can bring some in-house expertise to your training, at Vector we fully recognise that YOU AND YOUR STAKEHOLDERS are the experts in YOUR service.
We can offer 1-day, 2-day and 3-day options for a Training Needs Analysis, taking in the views of the people who use your service, their families, your staff and your managers. And the best news? Become members and you can receive this as part of your subscription package
At a time when budgets are tight, the requirement for your staff to undertake training is an expensive one. We get that.
As a service provider, you have no doubt also encountered people missing training as a result of sickness, holiday or the needs of the service.
In many ways, Online Training is the answer. It is cheaper than classroom training, and the ability for it to be accessed at any time means that "no-one falls through the net" through not being able to attend.
The main problems reported with online training are that it is impersonal and inflexible. Within a classroom, a knowledgeable and skilled trainer can adapt the training to the needs of the group, whereas online training lacks this interactivity
At Vector, our slogan is YOUR Direction, YOUR Training. This is not simply words - it is our Main Value.
You and your stakeholders are the experts in what you need to achieve from your staff's training. We therefore talk to you before designing your online training programme, and ensure that it meets your needs exactly.
We recognise that there are a number of certificated courses that your staff will need to complete, such as Safeguarding, Health and Safety or Infection Control.
Our Stage 1 courses provide this, with the insertion of your care model, policies and procedures when possible
On completion of Stage 1, we then provide Stage 2 courses, which provide a comprehensive look at the clinical sector within which your service operates. This will include a revisit of the topics from Stage 1, and asking learners to examine them in the context of the people who you support.
Vector Training and Consultancy Services are not an apprenticeship provider, but we are familiar with their delivery, and we work alongside a number of providers.
If you choose us for your outsourced training provision, we are more than happy to work with your apprenticeship provider to ensure that your staff are getting a rounded and progressive training experience
We believe that this is a training solution that combines the best of all worlds - the adaptability of the classroom with the cheapness and the convenience of online, joined up with other training provision that you might utilise.
Get in touch with us now to see how we can start developing your unique training programme.
As experienced care managers, we know that it is sometimes difficult to find the time to take new staff through mandatory training requirements i.e.the AWIF in Wales and the Care Certificate in England.
We can help with this.
For Gold Level customers, we offer fortnightly webinars which take the inductee through the requirements of their mandatory induction programme
Platinum Level customers can also access webinars which support staff who are palnning to become senior support workers and managers
These courses are all mapped to the requirements of the apprenticeships in England and Wales, thus helping your staff's progression still further
